Original pre-Mattel Samantha is stamped Pleasant Company on the back of her neck, and is in like new condition...looks like she was rarely played with. She has very squeezable vinyl, soft eyelashes (all intact), and her silky soft VERY LONG hair maintains original curl. Eyes function normally, she can hold a pose, and is clean with no marks or odors. She looks to be a 1991 doll, but will leave that determination to the experts out there! Samantha is wearing her meet outfit - dress (tagged "Made in West Germany for Pleasant Company 1986"), matching hair ribbon, black ribbed tights, white bloomers, and Mary Jane shoes. In addition, she comes with the pamphlet "Samantha Parkington" dated 1988 (slightly wrinkled).
