Rare 1970 IBM NASA Space Shuttle Baseline Descriptions Publication original document from the earliest conceptual phase of the Space Shuttle program - SV70-32

This is an authentic October 15, 1970 IBM technical binder titled “Space Shuttle Baseline Descriptions” (document code SV70-32). Produced during NASA’s Phase A/B studies when the Space Shuttle was still in preliminary design—over a decade before the first orbital flight in 1981.

The front cover has the name G.F. Fraser, who appears to have been an engineer and study manager who contributed to key NASA-funded studies on integral launch and reentry vehicle systems, which were part of the conceptual design phase for what would become the Space Shuttle program.
