Deck Rain Parka issued by the U.S. Navy (USN) in the 1940s for inclement weather.

This is the later model, with a lace-up front collar, which was an improvement over the earlier hook-type.
Features plain metal button adjusters on the cuffs and an adjuster cord at the hem.

Deadstock, brand new, unused condition.
There is no damage that would affect wear, aside from age-related deterioration.
There are no signs of use whatsoever, including around the drawcords.
It's unlikely that you'll find one in this clean condition again.
