Single-layered... both the front and back, the lovely brown fabric is a very beautiful kimono fabric.
I bought it to make a single-layered kimono... but I haven't used it.
You rarely see 100% Satsuma cotton anymore, even at kimono shops.
It seems the artisans who make it are gone.
I purchased a very valuable item.
