Listed is an authentic vintage 1961 Mattel Ken doll, marked “Ken™ Pats. Pend. © MCMLX by Mattel Inc This is one of the earliest versions of Ken, Barbie’s boyfriend, released shortly after Barbie’s debut.
He features blonde painted hair, blue eyes, and solid straight-leg body typical of early-1960s Ken dolls. His outfit includes a gray-green MCM style printed shirt with metal snap faux button details and red cotton swim trunks (secured with a safety pin closure), both vintage Mattel pieces.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Paint and facial features remain strong. Minor surface wear consistent with age; small hair rubs and faint pen marks on lower half. Clothing shows minor fray and one replaced closure with the pin helping keep the shorts up as the elastic is gone from the shorts. Minor plastic flaw on backside near logo.
