* Brooch measures 1 1/8" x 1 1/2" x 3/8" deep, with a secure rollover clasp.
Mimicking primitive metalworking techniques, this 24K Gold Plate over 935 Silver brooch features a center with Ancient Greek Mycenaean Mythological Winged Creatures, and is handwrought to look distressed and aged. The Mycenaean culture spanned the period from approximately 1750 to 1050 BC.
* Box measures 1 5/8" square x 3/4" high and features the logo of GEORGE THE GREEK, ATHENS, on the lid.
Signed "GEORGE 935" (935 silver, also known as Argentium, is made up of 93.5% silver and 6.5% copper, which gives it a higher silver content than 925 silver, thus making 935 silver more valuable.)
