Elegant vintage Krementz cufflinks featuring rich oval Tiger’s Eye cabochons, dating to the early–mid 1930s.
These are pre-patent Krementz examples with early bullet-back (torpedo) fittings, produced before the later patented swivel mechanisms. The domed stones are well-matched, securely set, and display the warm chatoyance that Tiger’s Eye is known for.
Finished in original Krementz gold tone. Period packaging for similar sets described this finish as “gold plated” — a term commonly used in the 1930s to denote a durable, high-quality gold finish, not modern thin electroplating.
