Beautiful vintage studio pottery soup set, handmade and wheel-thrown with a rustic, earthy glaze.
Set Includes:
• 1 lidded soup tureen with ladle notch
• 3 matching handled soup bowls
Measurements:
• Tureen: approx. 4.5" high (not including lid), 10.5" diameter
• Bowls: approx. 2.5" high, 5.5" diameter
(Each bowl is handmade and slightly different in size and shape)

• Hand-thrown stoneware
• Earth-tone glaze with cream, brown, olive & dark ash variation
• Lid features ladle notch for serving
Origin Note:
This set was acquired in Southern California. While unsigned, the form, glaze, and craftsmanship are consistent with Southern California studio pottery from the mid- to late-20th century, a region known for Japanese-influenced functional ceramics.
Condition:
• Very good vintage condition
• No chips or cracks observed
• Natural glaze variation and kiln marks are part of the handmade process
