A side story in the Mega Man series.
Following the rapid transition of the previous game, "Mega Man 8: Metal Heroes," to the Sega Saturn and PlayStation, this title was "made as an apology" to Super Famicom users, and it was also the last regularly sold game software for the SFC.
Many of the enemy characters are reused from "Mega Man 8," and the atmosphere of each stage is also similar. However, there are differences in the stage design, and there are plenty of original elements.
