This is a metal body model, the highest rank of the masterpiece TK-Matic by Faber-Castell.
Although unused, there are some signs of deterioration due to storage, such as cracks and damage to the case, and considerable rust on the main body.
There are no problems with the pen mechanism itself, and it works fine in practice. The knock and auto-knock functions work normally. The eraser part has deteriorated, so it needs to be replaced for practical use.
The knurling is of very high quality, and although the shaft width of a regular mechanical pencil is just under 9mm, it has a weighty shaft and good writing balance. Recommended for practical use.
Pilot and Sailor ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils, and art pens are also good, but please try fountain pens as well.
