This is a Kandahar mohair cardigan from around the 1960s. The color is red. Made in the U.S.A.

The size is labeled XL, but it feels like a men's M.
I purchased it about 17 or 18 years ago from a local vintage shop.
I haven't had many opportunities to wear it, and it has been stored in my closet for many years.
It has the ILGWU (International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union) tag, also known as the Union Made tag, which is said to have been attached to clothing from the 60s.
There is a small hole on the lower front (see photo 7).
