The outstanding feature of this dress is the stunning, aubergine, purple colour. Personally, I find this colour suits everybody. The delicate pleats along the shoulder line and the elegant sleeves take influence from the 1940s. These aspects, combined with wrap style, create a very flattering look. This dress would be ideal for a winter wedding or any special occasion. For a more formal or work type event, you could wear with a black or navy jacket over the dress with simple black or navy court shoes. This dress is machine washable. Note: The label says large. I would say personally that the dress could fit a 12 to a 16.
