Vintage Fairisle Cardigan S - L Duke of Scotland

Vintage cardigan in a vibrant red, with a beautiful fairisle design. 100% wool. The wool resembles Shetland in its texture and springiness and I'm fairly convinced it is; it's soft but coarse and not like the smooth, combed merino you find in many jumpers today. I mention this, as the texture might seem a little unusual if you haven't come across it before. Ribbon reinforced button placket. Made in Scotland. Possibly a small mark on the collar. I'm inclined to think it's a natural variation in the wool but I can't be sure. I have tried to photograph this. This is a quality piece in excellent vintage condition. However, there isn't an indication that it is authentic fairisle (i.e., made in Shetland) and this is reflected in the price. No size indicated. I think it could fit up to a size 40 but please check the measurements. For reference, I take a size FR36 and am about 165 cm. Measurements (approx and in cm): Length: 66.5 Width (under the arms): 48.5 Sleeve (top of the arm): 71.5 Sleeve (under the arm): 47. Shoulders are hard to measure as the sleeves are raglan.
