Men’s original 1950s grey suit

Fantastic original 1950s grey ‘tweed’ suit made from 2 ply twist blended wool (as stated on the label on the inside of the jacket) Predominantly grey but has a thin line of light tan/orange running through it. The jacket is lined and has one breast pocket, two flap pockets (one of these has an additional internal pocket) and one internal breast pocket, there is also a button detail on the edge of each sleeve cuff. No size label although there is a small label on the inside of one of the flap front pockets with ‘42’ on it? Approximate measurements -chest 44”/across the shoulders 38”/sleeve length 24” The trousers have two front side pockets, one of which is buttoned, the waistband has four buttons for braces to attach and the turn-ups are fixed. Approximate measurements-waist 36”(there are two buttons on the side for waist adjustment) inside leg 30.5”/hem width measured flat 8” Some staining (see pics) on lining at armpits and trouser pockets as expected for the age of the suit but otherwise in very good condition!
