Large and very pretty 20th Century Chinese export porcelain punch bowl hand painted in striking Imari pallette. One chip on the foot of the bowl. Please study pictures for condition. 35.5cm wide 20cm deep The inscription on the bottom likely translates to "Made in the wuchen year in Yangcheng". Yangcheng (City of Goats) is the ancient nickname for Guangzhou. Wuchen is a year in the Chinese Sexagenery cycle corresponding to either 1928 or 1988. I am by no means an oriental pottery expert and have done the research to the absolute best of my ability. Will be packed and shipped with the utmost care.
