Vintage BHS Bristol Blue British Home Stores Ceramic Coffee Jar

This is a vintage from later 20th century (1950s–1980s) ceramic coffee storage jar with lid, decorated in a traditional blue and white floral style. Blue floral and leaf motifs scattered around the body and lid, hand-painted or transfer-printed. The front is labeled “Coffee” in blue script, indicating it was part of a kitchen canister set. The decoration features stylized blue flowers and berries with green leaves, a pattern reminiscent of English pottery from the late 20th century. Made in England. Material & Finish: Glazed ceramic/earthenware with a smooth glossy finish. Shape: Cylindrical canister with slightly fluted vertical ridges. Lid has a rounded knop finial and a fitted flange to keep it in place. Suitable for everyday storage of ground coffee or beans. Size approx. Diameter 14 x H 14 cm (without lid). Weight 1200g.
