Vintage Maggie Lawrence ILGWU Red Kilt Skort Size 12 (Large) Wool Blend

This is a kilt skort from the brand Maggie Lawrence. It was made with the ILGWU label, which is a vintage women's clothing union. I was having a hard time dating this piece, but I think it's from the 60s/70s based on the labels. It is red with navy blue and dark green stripes that can look like black. It is a size 12, which is a large. The measurements when the garment is laying flat is around 29.5 inches for the waist, 47 inches for the hips, 15 inches for the front seam, 6.5 inches for the inseam, and 19 inches in length. It is 45% acrylic, 30% polyester, 20% wool, and 5% other fibers. This blend makes it a lot more comfortable that just wool; but if you are sensitive too wool, it might be irritating. (I could not wear it against my skin, only with tights underneath.) The care instructions are to dry clean only. It is in good condition, but the hardware is discoloring. The buttons have also been repaired.
