This is a vintage reproduction print professionally framed in a vintage wooden frame behind plastic (not glass) and double matted with cream and pink beautifully complementary to the work of art. (See detailed photos in listing)

The original oil painting was completed in 1885.
It depicts a young girl standing in the corner in a white dress, seemingly in trouble, with her small dog sitting by her feet.

Charles Burton Barber was a British painter known for his Victorian-era paintings of children and their pets.

This item is in very good condition for its age (undetermined.) The print, plastic and matting are flawless and the wooden frame has normal signs of wear and tear with minor dings, scratches and nicks adding to the character and charm dating the piece.

The print measures 11 & 1/2in x 15 & 1/2in and with the frame measures 18 & 3/4in x 22 & 3/4in.
