Eat Toms Toasted Peanuts Vintage Store Counter Glass Peanut Jar RED TOP LID
This is an old peanut jar typically found in corner drug stores back in the middle 20th century. This specific jar actually comes from Wallace Drug Store in Laurel, MS, most likely from the 1950s. It came from Aunt Nellie (all i knew her by) who was part owner and bookkeeper for the Store. It's been in our family since before I was born! Rhe black printing is still thorough as pictured. There's no cracks in the jar itself, amd only minor stuffing around the lid opening. The lid is in great condition with the red handle still fully red and has "TOM'S" embossed on both sides. Measures just under 10 inches tall and 7 inches wide, and it's stout heavy duty glass!
