French Army M47 Field Jacket (Genuine)

M-47 field jacket issued to the French Army from the 1940s to the 1950s.
Roughly divided into early and late models, this is the early model made of cotton twill fabric.
The later models were HBT (Herringbone Twill).

Features epaulettes.
Storm flap at the collar.
Drawcord at the waist.
Two-stage adjustable button cuffs.
Four front pockets with double flaps secured by buttons on the inside.
The stamp "ARMEE" and "1953" can be read on the inside of the left chest pocket when worn.

Deadstock, brand new, unused condition.
There are no signs of the drawcord being tightened, and the paper size tag remains.
There is no significant damage other than age-related deterioration.
Although there are many wrinkles from storage, it is cotton, so it should not be difficult to handle.
Even though it is deadstock, it is rare to find a piece with the paper label still attached.
