The 1950s, after the war, was a time of peace and vitality in America. For Levi's, it was also the era when products that would be remembered for generations were born. During this period, the 501 reached the pinnacle as Levi's' signature jeans. And now, from a vintage perspective, it has become a masterpiece highly regarded by jeans enthusiasts and many others. This is the reproduction of the "501XX 1955 Model." It faithfully reproduces the details of the time, such as the "diamond point" arcuate stitch using yellow thread called "banana yellow," the red tab that changed from one-sided to double-sided embroidery, the early paper patch with the copy "Every Garment Guaranteed," and the red-eared watch pocket. Especially this paper patch was changed from a genuine leather patch to a non-shrinking paper patch due to the spread of dryers at the time. It is a detail that proves that the 501 has walked and evolved with the times.
