This gorgeous pant suit was designed by Isaac Mizrahi for his Fall/Winter 1994 Runway Collection. While he was creating this collection, his partner had access to the process and backstage. He created a film Unzipped.
This set was sold in Bergdorf Goodman. It’s a size 8, a 98% wool 2% Lycra blend. The top is a pullover with a trapeze silhouette, elegant bateau neckline and faux fur cuffs. The cigarette pants are ankle length with a hidden back zipper and a flat front. So sophisticated! There are 3 holes 2 are small one is not.
Apparently, in 1992 Chanel was apparently was impressed with Isaac Mizrahi and decided to bankroll him for 6 years. He had access to the finest materials and craftspeople in the world. Which is obvious in this collection.
