This is a Levi's LVC 1915 501xx Cone Mills Collaboration Homer denim, a collaboration model from the LVC Global Line 2009 Fall/Winter collection. This limited edition model was released to commemorate the 94-year relationship with Cone Mills. The original is a 1915 model that exists in the Levi's archives and is called Homer Jeans after the name of the previous owner.

This is a limited edition model that was released in a very small lot compared to the rigid version, which was also released in two types. The paper tag shows 1916, but the catalog notation and the first part of the product number are the same as the rigid type, 15501, so it is likely a reproduction of the 1915 model. It features processing unique to the collection, which is themed after prison wear.

The fabric is 11 ounces, and the processing is among the most elaborate of all the past LVC limited edition models. The most distinctive feature, the switching part, is made by randomly cutting the denim near the knee, overlapping it longer, and sewing it by hand. This makes the lower third of the thigh double-layered, resulting in a heavy denim. In addition, numerous bleach stains and crush processing have been applied.

Since it is a 1915 model, it features a suspender + cinch back design without belt loops, rust processing on all buttons and cinches, mold processing on the blind rivets, and all single-stitch finishing. There is no red tab, and the central non-crossing arcuate stitch is a good accent that clearly identifies it as a model from the early 1900s.
