1950s British Royal Guard Souvenir Doll Ceremonial Drum Major From England Mint

A vintage mid century British Royal Guard 'Ceremonial Drum Major" souvenir doll. This doll is made of plastic and fabric and were popular souvenirs from London, England. The doll is dressed in a scarlet full dress coat with extensive gold braiding and a tall bearskin headpiece. The ornate sash across the chest is called a baldric, which typically denotes rank and authority. It carries a mace or staff. A symbol of the drum major's authority. Used to signal commands. It features sleepy eyes that open and close. Never been handled or out of the original plastic tube. New condition, very nice. Size 8 inches tall. Non smoking pet free home.
