Vintage EEL Skin Shoulder Handbag Burgundy Red Leather Purse. This supple and shiny burgundy / cherry red striped pattern, vintage classic retro, eel skin bag dates 70's/80's. 2 compartments lined with genuine suede burgundy leather, 1 zipper closure, 1 snap closure. Small zip interior pocket is lined with a patterned nylon fabric. A strap with gold metal tab hangs across the top. Double shoulder strap comes together at the top with a flat guard section. 9" T x 13" W x 3" D; strap drop 13". Unbranded. Tag reads "Made in Korea Genuine EEL Skin. Metal snap reads Bromet BT 7529131. A type of clasp/closure found on vintage handbags, particularly those from Gucci. The number appears to be a model or patent number associated with the hardware. In very good condition, clean, no odor. 1 ink mark at top inside opening; a couple dots inside. A few tiny light scuffs on outside trim noted. The gold hardware has a tiny bit of discoloration. Each side has same hardware. Weight 1 lb. 6 oz.
