These purse mirrors were originally produced in the late 1950s and 1960s as luxury advertising or "gift with purchase" items for Norman Norell's perfume line. They are considered classic examples of Mid-Century Modern vanity.
Having the original black protective pouch is a significant plus. It prevents the brass from scratching. This mirror is in very good vintage condition with no chips on the mirror. Please note that there are 2 long scratches on the backside of the mirror that are very difficult to see. I tried to point them out in the last two photos.
