Hummingbird brooch / pin, handmade hand painted original art jewelry

This is one of my many designs I am currently creating, inspired by my love of hummingbirds!

I started with a sketch, then this design was cut out of birch wood with a laser, then each one is hand painted, full of sparkle and metallic mica pigment added to the paint in layers, because, after all, these little beautiful creatures are literally flying gems.

Then I apply a final coat of hard resin to give it a glossy protective finish. Finally, attach a permanent stainless steel pin on the back and hand sign it.

These are truly OOAK, as each one is made one at a time with tiny details and thousands of brush strokes.

It will come safely padded in a gift box with a hand written Certificate of Authenticity.
