Vintage Kreiss & Co. ceramic novelty figurine depicting a comic prisoner / convict character with sledgehammer and ball-and-chain motif. Hand-painted glazed ceramic with applied rhinestone accents. Classic mid-century kitsch décor piece.

Approximate height: 6.25 inches.

Condition:
Vintage condition with significant wear consistent with age and prior repair. The head has been reattached and there are visible chips along the repair area, including at the jaw, shoulder, and back of the neck. Two rhinestones are missing (one on the sledgehammer, one on the lower jacket area). Chain is present but missing the ball. Surface wear, glaze crazing, and scattered paint loss throughout.
