This rare commemorative buckle celebrates 10 years of the Auburn Area California Highway Patrol’s community Fish Derby (May 1988 – June 1997). Features a detailed leaping trout (fish) design with river/landscape background, Western scrollwork, and bold text: “TENTH ANNIVERSARY”, “Auburn CHP Fish Derby”, “1988-1997”.
Made by Buckles of America (Rocklin, CA USA) – high-quality cast metal with nice patina. Back plate thanks fishermen, sponsors, and volunteers, with “LIMITED EDITION 367 OF 500”, event dates, Auburn Area CHP info, and maker marks. Includes belt loop/hook for standard 1.5–1.75” belts.
