This charming vintage Christmas elf features hand painted hard plastic and the hat and tie are made of felt fabric lined with white fur. The piece is marked on the back, Made in Japan, dating it to the late 1950s to mid-1960s and making it a desirable mid-century holiday collectible. When the pull string is activated, it plays the song “Silent Night,” and the music mechanism works properly.
The entire piece, including the gold metal hanging chain and pull string measures 15.25” tall. The elf face measures 4.5” wide by 5” tall.
