Beautiful, small, Regina Pottery MAT cabinet vase hand-painted in the floral "Rosario" pattern in Gouda, Holland! The markings on the bottom include the name Regina followed by the mould number, a crown mark above the initials WB, the pattern name Rosario, Gouda Holland, and the decorator's mark.
Regina Pottery, named after Queen Wilhelmina, began as a clay pipe manufacturer in Gouda, Holland in 1898, founded by Van der Want and Barras. Regina started to produce their decorative and ornamental pottery towards the end of WW1. During the Art Deco period, the matte designs (known as Gouda Mat or MAT) became very popular, including "Rosario", the most famous design of artist Steef A. Boers, which was produced until the factory closed in 1979
