Great pre-owned vintage condition. This jacket is a rare and unique piece, as ABA Sport served as the official sponsor of the Mexican National Team during the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France. Throughout different competitions, the Mexican team was outfitted by Adidas, ABA Sport, and Nike, with Adidas officially sponsoring the team during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
This jacket may be either a custom-made piece featuring high-quality, period-correct embroidery or a sample merchandise item produced by Adidas in anticipation of becoming the primary sponsor for the 1998 World Cup.
The jacket shows light signs of wear consistent with age, including minor spots/stains as shown in the photos not very noticeable, as well as very slight yellowing from long-term storage. The size tag indicates Medium; however, the fit runs generously and may also accommodate a Large or XL, depending on body type. Sold as is.
