Vintage Basketville Vermont Wooden Picnic Basket Lid Handles Raised Base Holder!

This Basketville wooden basket was made in Putney, Vermont and has a good, solid feel to it. It's built with a hinged wood lid, handwoven wooden sides, folding handles, and a raised base that keeps it sitting up nicely instead of flat.

The inside of the lid is stamped "Basketville Putney Vermont." The basket appears to have seen little to no use. The interior is clean, and the wood is in very nice shape. There are a few small, natural marks from age and being stored away, which is to be expected, but nothing cracked, loose, or broken. The hinges and handles are sturdy and work as they should.
