This tin car is made by the American toy manufacturer SCHYLLING. This car, which features the flags of the United Kingdom and the United States, is the record car of "Captain Benjamin," which became a speed record car in the 1930s. The recorded official speed was 272.91 mph, which is approximately 439.11 km/h.

This is just a toy, so it won't run at the above speed, but the tires spin vigorously when the wind-up mechanism is wound. The wind-up mechanism structure is exposed on the underside of the car when it is flipped over. And the words "LAND SPEED RECORD CAR" and a serial number are engraved on the bottom. A certificate with the serial number is included, making it valuable for collectors.
