This listing is for a beautiful sterling silver and amethyst (?) artisan brooch. Love the angular/spiky design of the silver elements juxtaposed to the oval stone cabochon. The back of the bezel set stone is not open, thus it appears quite dark and mysterious, rather than translucent as most amethyst stones normally do. The brooch measures just roughly 2 1/8 x 1 7/8 x 1/2" (including the clasp). The brooch is not marked, but it is non-magnetic and tarnished like sterling would. Good, but not perfect preowned condition showing some normal surface wear and tarnishing. As we all have our own preferences in regards to surface finishes we like on our jewelry, I will not be doing any cleaning/polishing of this piece. I'll leave that decision to the buyer.
