In celebration of Ryne Sandberg’s final Wrigley Field appearance, the Cubs issued a commemorative baseball card for the September 21st ballgame. Sponsored by LaSalle Bank, the card was produced in a standard 2 ½" x 3 ½" size, and included a list of career highlights on the back, along with Sandberg’s Major League and Cubs career statistics, through September 14, 1997. (The slight discrepancies are due to six at bats for the 1981 Philadelphia Phillies.)
