Inlaid Zuni Sitting Dog Galaxy Southwestern Western Ethnic Pendant 4.2gms Unisex

This Zuni inlaid Galaxy sitting dog pendant, weighing 4.2 grams and crafted from 925 sterling silver, features a distinctive oval shape with intricate mosaic inlay work. The central design showcases a stylized dog figure, crafted from mother-of-pearl or abalone, set against a dark, onyx or jet, background, creating a celestial "galaxy" effect with scattered iridescent flecks and smaller inlaid pieces representing stars or planets. The border of the pendant is adorned with various precisely cut and inlaid stones and shell pieces in a vibrant array of colors, characteristic of Zuni mosaic inlay artistry, and it is suspended from a sterling silver bail that also incorporates inlay work.
