This cap is constructed from correct OG-107 cotton sateen and is dated by DSA contract 100-69-C-0299, indicating a 1969 government contract. Manufactured by Propper International, Inc.
The cap retains its original blackened U.S. Navy enlisted cap device and shows honest service wear consistent with age. Interior tag and ink marking are present.
