I am selling this lovely antique trinket or jewelry box, made in China likely in the early 20th century. Hand painted in green, yellow, and pink floral patterns, it is a great example of the famille rose style of porcelain art popular at the time.
This box is made of white porcelain, decorated with floral designs. The lid fits snugly without gaps. Irregular texture common to hand painted porcelain, this is a beautiful piece to display in your home or keep on your dresser.
It is in good vintage condition, with a crack that has been successfully repaired but it still visible and can be felt if you run your finger along the bottom. See photos for details of condition, sold as is. Stamped CHINA on the bottom, though the lettering was mistakenly printed backward, giving it a fun and unique flair.
