Vintage Tribal Sunburst Earrings – Alpaca Silver Tone, AB Crystal Center, Hand-R

These vintage tribal-style earrings feature a sunburst / target motif at the top, a common design seen in Southwestern and Meso-inspired jewelry from the 1970s–1980s. The metal appears to be alpaca (nickel silver), often used in artisan and tourist jewelry for its durability and weight.

I carefully redesigned this pair by adding a black AB crystal to the center, giving the original design new depth and sparkle while honoring its vintage character. The lower dangling elements retain their tribal, symbolic shapes, finished with a subtle tan and black enamel look that adds warmth and contrast.

These earrings feel solid and well-made, with a beautiful balance of history and renewal. I loved bringing them back to life, and I hope they find a new home where they’ll be worn, loved, and appreciated again.
