Meet Raisin. She was painted with Genesis and Gemini heat set paints to achieve a mottled preemie appearance. She is varnished with matte and satin varnishes and I applied extra texture to her forehead and eyebrows. She has milia across her nose and cheeks.
She was created from the Poppy sculpt by Bonnie Brown.
She is micro-rooted with medium brown and auburn mohairs to give her a side part with a beautiful little swirl in the back.
She has rooted lashes and painted eyebrows that extend into a little bit of a newborn unibrow for that ultra preemie look.
Poppy has a magnet in her mouth to be able to accept a magnetic pacifier.
She’s a tiny little thing though weighing in at 2lbs and 7oz. I crocheted her some booties for her tiny feet as well.
