Beautiful hand carved detailing on this very rare left facing hand carved shell cameo in 14k gold! 1800's Italian made. Gold filigree work is amazing! Also has a top ring to wear as a pendant. This is a large cameo! Measures 2 1/4" long and 1.5" wide depth at highest is almost an inch. Filigree work is 5/8" tall on sides so lots of gold on this piece! Beautiful gift for the collector or lover of cameo pieces! I was told the piece was rare for left facing subject but even more rare since subject appears to be male! Amazing piece in excellent condition!
