This plain Cowichan sweater is made with a cashmere blend yarn. Each part is knitted with a pattern on a home knitting machine, and they are assembled into the Cowichan shape by hand linking. The yarn is also knitted with 8 strands of 15-count cashmere blend yarn. Compared to wool sweaters, the feel and warmth are significantly different, and the silhouette reproduces the loose, rounded body unique to vintage items.
