The letting-out process involves slicing a skin into narrow diagonal strips and then sewing them together to form a longer and narrower strip that will run the full length of a coat. The coat is in good condition for its age. Lining has no fraying or holes. The appraisal states male gender however a woman was the owner and wearer of this coat. Doesn’t matter to me, style is style no matter who’s wearing it.
