Vintage Metropolitan Police wool greatcoat, estate-sourced with uniform provenance. Heavy-duty dark navy melton wool construction with double-breasted front, original brass Commonwealth of Massachusetts buttons, and embroidered Metropolitan Police shoulder patch.
Coat shows general age-related wear including light surface lint and minor signs of use consistent with service wear. No interior tags present, typical of older uniform-issued garments. Overall solid, structurally sound condition with strong display and collectible appeal.
