Beautiful handmade and hand stitched throw blanket / crib blanket. This is a remarkable needlepoint work of art. There are 9 separate large squares. Four of them have inspirational sayings: Be Kind of Heart - Be Gentle of Spirit - Give Thanks for All Things - With Love Be Blest. There are another five large squares each of which have a different floral design. In between the larger squares are four diagonal smaller squares with floral design. The rest of the blanket is quilted in threads of yellow and blue. The entire blanket is hand stitched. It is a really pretty and the work product is beautiful. There is a tag with the maker's name - Susan Shamp - who obviously put a lot of work and love into this blanket. It measures 32.5 x 32.5 in. The pictures show a little more faded than the blanket is. It is bright and colorful. Beautiful.
