The Art of Chokin metal engravings from Japan are created by the ancient art of Chokin. Gilded with gold and silver, the engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the SAMURI warriors.
Beautiful collector plate featuring Cranes & Pines with Japanese characters for the months embossed around the 24K gold rim. Pine and Cran are both the symbols of longevity. This is a great plate to give a business or elderly to bless them with the logevity. This is the First Issue of the Japanese Floral Calendar plates.
This plate is in great vintage condition with no chips, cracks. There are few minor scratches as seen in pictures.
Measurements:
