This 7-inch record LP was purchased in Rio de Janeiro from a cultural museum for my
master’s thesis in 19
th
century Brazilian Music. I didn’t end up
needing it and it’s in mint condition still in its plastic sleeve and cardboard
case. This is great for any ethno-musicologist or world music lover. Be sure to
check out the other 7-inch albums I have listed. Each of these albums were
issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
 
Congos
de Saiote / RN – Documentario sonoro do folklore Brasileiro No 25. This
folkloric music encompasses various genres from the people from the north of
Brazil. The album cover in a reddish tint features an image of people dancing,
marching in their traditional attire.
