Nikon F100 Back Film Door Broken Latch Metal Repair Kit - Stainless Steel

This repair kit is designed to fix the broken film door latches that are common on many Nikon film cameras. This particular kit is designed for the Nikon F100. The latch kit comes with a precision machined 300 series stainless steel latch that is hand finished to a nice shiny brushed finish. The kit also includes a filing guide that will help streamline the installation and ensure that only the required plastic is removed to properly install the latch. This kit will require the end user to purchase a needle file of 1/4" approximate width or similar and superglue to affix the metal latch to the existing plastic. Adhesive choice is largely up to the end user with a good 2 part plastic safe epoxy being the best choice for long term stability (Clamping would be required).
