This is a Vintage Williamsburg Andrea Sadek Hotch-Potch Alphabet Ball Bank. The design features figures in acrobatic poses that form letters, based on a print from 1782 titled The Comical Hotch-Potch of the Alphabet turn'd Posture-Master. The bank is made of porcelain. It is part of a larger collection that also includes child's plates, bowls, and cups with the same design. The design is a reproduction of a colonial-era print in the Colonial Williamsburg collection. The original print only had 24 letters. This bank is in good pre-owned condition with no chips and cracks. Great addition to a nursery or young child’s room!
